Yahoo launches Shine for women

Yahoo just launched an internet portal "aimed at women aged 25-54", saying that they felt it's an under served market and that they were requests from advertisers for something to reach this demographic online.

Personally, we feel that demographics and online should not be used in the same sentence, as the net is designed to reach out to communities of people, not target audiences.

But still, it's worthwhile to follow the site to see if they are successful.
